On December 19, 2018, the Randy Marion Automotive Group made a special visit to the Mount Mourne Middle School Volleyball team! Athletic Director, Lee Catchpole, nominated them to be featured in the Randy Marion Teams of the Month series because of their exemplary display of sportsmanship throughout the season. 

"The girls are showing great promise and even better sportsmanship! Last week at "the Creek", those in attendance at the match against Statesville were treated to a display of exemplary sportsmanship and the true spirit of what it means to be an IB student," explained Catchpole. "The Statesville girls took the court under a tunnel of cheering Mt. Mourne players; as the Bulldogs do not have a supporting JV squad of their own. Every point Statesville scored was met with applause from both benches and the entire crowd."
