How to be an eligible athlete at The Brawley School

 

   

The Brawley School Athletic Participation Instructions

 

Please complete the following steps to assure that you or your athlete is eligible to participate in athletics this upcoming school year.

 

STEP #1:  Print out the following form and have a Preparticipation Physical Evaluation     examined by a licensed healthcare provider.  

* Forms must be signed, dated, and office stamped to be accepted by the school. 

* Turn in completed form to the front office well before the first day of tryouts for your sport.  

*Make a copy to keep at home!

* Physicals are valid for 395 days from the original date of exam

 

STEP # 2:  Register and complete all forms for The Brawley School Registration  

 

Both steps must be completed before an athlete will be allowed to attend any athletic activity (summer workout, tryouts, practice, games or matches). *NO EXCEPTIONS*

For all other sports, students have the opportunity to try out for their home school, the designated school they would attend if not enrolled in The Brawley School.

**Football is the only middle school sport in which 6th graders are not allowed to play.
